TOPIC: Skin Care 2012 – A Look at New Launches and Trends

ABSTRACT:

Finished goods houses continue to try to wow the consumer with ever more efficacious products. Each day we see launches of skin care products that promise to deliver amazing results. In this presentation, we’ll discuss what claims the latest crop of products are touting, and try to figure out what they are using to make these claims.

We’ll also take a look at some of the challenges being faced by the formulator in the regulatory and global arena. The In-Commerce list in Canada, the Nagoya protocol and Access & Benefits Sharing (ABS), the INCI name crunch in China, Cosmos vs Ecocert – these are hurdles being jumped by formulators with amazing agility.
